Abraham Kriel Children’s Home needs your help!
URGENT: Please make sure one child can eat despite the ongoing impact of Covid!
It is a year since the national lockdown in South Africa and still children and families struggle to find their next meal and to stand on their own feet.
The situation in Soweto and Westbury has become worse. Poverty is on the rise, because people can still not earn an income due to the negative impact of Covid-19.
We have had to cut 701 family members from our food distribution list as well as some food items from our parcels due to budget restraints. The financial crises caused by Covid-19 is biting hard. With your help, these people can still receive a basic food parcel.
590 children and the 402 gogos and aunties that care for them are still utterly reliant on food parcels. They are surrounded by 701 family members that struggle to survive.
What we really need is to provide food to 1 693 people. Will you please make an urgent gift of R150 towards food parcels?
