Will you be at the Greatest Train Race 2015?
The main forces in Witbank pulled together to host a networking event in aid of the Greatest Train Race 2015, on 25 June 2015.
Hosted at Kohler Auto in Witbank, over 80 people attended including members of the Witbank Sakekamer, Witbank Chamber, Middelburg Chamber and BNI (Business Networking Initiative).
One of the main focal point was that of The Greatest Train Race that will be held in August.
Max Kohler, DP of Kohler Auto and Chairman of The Greatest Train Race mentioned that the event is an opportunity to help the community. It is only made possible due to the input from loyal businesses and individuals who when joining forces can make a huge difference.
The aim for this year’s Greatest train Race is to raise R2 000 000 for charity.
On another note, Piet Cromhout, Chairman of the Witbank Sakekamer, mentioned that businesses in Witbank should also stand together to ensure that the town rise up from the ashes.
As an avenue to explore genuine leadership skills and promote a culture and climate of no-corruption, a Global Leadership Summit will be coming to Witbank in October. It is the perfect platform to provide and master necessary business and life skills.
More information will be provided on the ShowMe website regarding this impressive event but space is limited and early booking is essential.
It is important for all the leaders in our community to stand together, from our teachers to our municipality managers, Cromhout said.
To add to the evenings festivities, prizes sponsored by Kohler Auto where handed out to a few lucky attendees. Winners included: Tonie Engelbrecht – Witbank Electrical Wholesale Agencies; Wayne Turner – Bidvest; Riaan Kasselman – Chas Everitt; Les Greave – Astrum and Dr. Nadine Dunn – Professional Counselor.
The biggest question of the evening was: Will you be at the Greatest Train Race 2015?
