Wild Waters, Boksburg, East Rand (Ekurhuleni)
Wild Waters in Boksburg is a wonderful venue to take the whole family for a day’s outing. Pack a picnic, take your blankets and towels, and find one of the stunning picnic spots that are situated throughout the venue. Now you are ready for the fun.
Frolic in the wave pool, with real waves or ride the supertube – 500 metres of exhilaration. Then try out the raging rapids ride – a fun slide where you use body boards. Still want more?
There is the speed-hump slide or quieter pools for the little ones with smaller slides. There is also a sand area for volley ball or for the kids to play in and a putt putt course for the whole family. When you want to relax, you can sit and watch the kids from your picnic spot.
There are braai areas and, if you’re not in the mood for making your own food, there is a shop with take-away foods. Facilities include changing rooms and lockers for your personal items.
