The Peacemakers Museum, Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton

Peacemakers Museum, Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton

Nelson Mandela Square is appropriately the home of the Peacemakers Museum. Created by the South African Gold Coin Exchange, this exhibition takes forward the message of peace and celebrates the work of Peace Laureates, men and women from all corners of the globe who have dedicated their lives to make the world a better place. Of course, pride of place has been given to our own Nobel Laureates, Albert Luthuli, Desmond Tutu, FW de Klerk and Nelson Mandela.

Peacemakers Museum, Nelson Mandela Square, SandtonThe dove is a symbol of peace throughout the world. The paper doves in this exhibition signify the efforts of all Peace Laureates working towards peace, justice, equality and freedom for all of humankind. As a symbol of your own commitment to these values, make a paper dove to add to the exhibition.
