The Kalahari is famed for particularly magnificent ‘desert’ sunsets, and even though you are in the river and surrounded by the verdant fields and vines of Upington, the distant sand particles in the air help catch the light and create fire god sunsets that go very well with a chilled glass of bubbly…or a brandy and coke.

The cruises last two hours and are open to all ages, though the bar is no under 18’s.
