Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park, Hazyview, Mpumalanga

Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park is dedicated to the conservation of snakes and education of the public, but while the reptile park is focused on snakes, other reptiles are also kept there within a variety of exhibits.

Besides many species of indigenous and exotic snakes and a python exhibit, there are frogs and toads, tortoises and lizards and crocodiles and alligators.

Perry’s Bridge is fairly new. The reptile park was opened in 2008 by a team involved in snake conservation and relocations in the area, who realised that there was an urgent need for education to reduce the number of snakes being killed unnecessarily, as well as to protect the public and promote conservation.

Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm. Snake handling demonstrations are given at 11am and 3pm daily, and crocodile feeding demonstrations are held at 2pm on Sundays.
