Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve, Western Cape
Kagga Kamma is located in an untouched wilderness area south of the Cederberg. The historical area was once home to the traditional Bushmen. Take a San Cultural Tour and visit some of the ancient Bushmen living sites and get an in-depth interpretation of the ancient rock-art. Take a guided quad-bike safari into some of the remote areas of the park, or enjoy one the many hiking trails in the reserve. There is also an excellent 4×4 trail in the Kagga Kamma Reserve.
Getting there: from Cape Town, take the N1 North, at Worcester turn off to Ceres. Here, follow the directions to Prince Alfred Hamlet and Citrusdal. After passing through Prince Alfred Hamlet and Gydo pass, turn right at the “Kagga Kamma” sign just after the small town called “Op-die-Berg”. Follow the signs all the way to Kagga Kamma.
