Little Farm Adventures near Volksrust offers horse riding holidays for the whole family, for small groups of adults and children and for beginners to experienced riders.
Horse riding camps teach basic horse care and stable management in addition to outrides and trails through the countryside.
Little Farm Adventures is situated at ‘Perdekop’ (Horsehead), on the R23 north of Volksrust.
A unique aspect to these camps is the historical profile of the area, which is part of South Africa’s historical Battlefieds. Both children and adults alike will leave enriched not only with improved riding skills, but with an in depth knowledge of the area and its interesting heritage and past. A small private museum on the property allows a glimpse into the more recent history of the area.
Accommodation is provided as part of the package, with 2-3 hours per day in the saddle.
