Golden Eagle Horse Trails, Bloemfontein
‘Cowboy Kleinhans’ of Golden Eagle Horse Trails will take you on an unforgettable half day western style safari ride on the Cyferbank farm and adjacent private game reserve, 30km north of Bloemfontein.
The trails move through wildlife areas and camps where you can see Zebra and various species of antelope, as well as through cattle ranches.
The horses are very well trained for easy riding and game viewing.
Besides the wildlife and the chance to feel like a real cowboy (or cowgirl), points of interest on these trails include the Boer war graves and observation points from a battle between the Boers and the British in 1901.
