Germiston Golf Club, East Rand, Gauteng
The Germiston Golf Course is in a beautiful lakeside setting, with 18 well-manicured holes on a par 72 parklands course.
First built in 1897, the course was updated in 1905 by WB Wright. The 6523 metres of kikuyu fairways and bent grass greens brings the Germiston Lake into play on the par-three 15th and 17th holes.
The facilities include a pro-shop, driving range, putting green, rental carts, caddies, rental clubs, practice facilities and most importantly, clubhouse and bar.
The course is closed on Mondays. Visitors welcome every day except Wednesday afternoons and Saturday afternoons (bookings essential).

From the N12, exit at the Rand Airport Road/M46 (Exit 106) off-ramp. Get onto the M46(Rand Airport Road) heading east towards Germiston(and the airport). Proceed for about 2.5km, and when you get to the traffic lights turn right onto the M48 (also called the Rand Airport Road). Proceed along this road until you see the golf course entrance on your left-hand side.
