Boschkloof Mountain Bike Trail, Cederberg
The 26-km circular trail is graded intermediate to difficult. The route takes you on a windy road along the Ceres Mountain Pass for 7km before hitting gravel and singletrack at Gonnafontein. The trail then meanders through both pristine fynbos and stunning citrus orchards. The highlight of the trail is the awesome downhill from Gonnafontein to Boschkloof that will test your bike skills and balance. You can park your car safely at Boschkloof Farm and maps of the trail are available from the Citrusdal Tourism office.
Getting there: follow the N7 from Cape Town to Citrusdal and turn into the village. Follow Voortrekker road from Citrusdal and then turn right into Muller street. Carry on when you hit the gravel road and continue 7km to the farm.
