Mashudu and Thamis Two Day Wedding Celebration

Mashudu and Thami celebrated their wedding in 2011. Despite the cost of living being so high, they felt they needed to celebrate this special day in a very memorable way. To them this wasn’t expensive at all, it is only a matter of good planning and a few sacrifices there and there.

The first celebration was the modern white wedding at church, followed by a quick stop at a beautiful park to shoot pictures, before lunch and the evening reception back at the bride’s home in Chiawelo, Soweto. All this wasn’t enough for this couple, it had to be followed by the African celebration; Venda style, where slaughtering of a sheep, singing, allulations and gifts exchange between the two families took place. This day will surely be a memorable one all their lives. May they be blessed.
