Braamfontein is about to be rocked by Amstel
This year Amstel’s focus is on amplifying the SA music scene – from giving away golden headphones, to surprising fans with once-in-a-lifetime music experiences; every touch point of the #AmstelAmplified campaign aims to take music experiences to the next level.
This Saturday the 30th of April will be no different, when Amstel amplifies the cultural hub of Braamfontein, by placing a two and a half storey high speaker stack at Neighbourgoods Market.
But a 7 meter high wall of sound won’t be the only way Amstel will be amplifying party-goers experiences:
“Everyone loves their own taste in music, and in some way or another believe that their playlist is probably the best on earth. Now we at Amstel want to give them a chance to prove that by letting them plug in and play their favourite tracks off of our giant speaker” – Lance Dodgen, Brand Manager, Amstel South Africa.
Attendees of the day, as well as the whole the Twitterverse will be able to plug in their music devices, or send in their requests using #AmstelAmplified to have their favourite song played at the party. When their song is played, their name or handle will be put up in lights on the giant speaker for the entire party to see, letting everyone know who kept the party going.
If you’d like to personally experience this quality time served by a quality beer, then head down to Neighbourgoods Market this Saturday the 30th of April between 13:00 and 18:00, or visit Amstel.co.za to see how else we are amplifying the SA music scene.
Heineken South Africa supports responsible drinking. Amstel is not for sale to persons under the age of 18. Drink Responsibly.
