Panorama Route, Mpumalanga Escarpment As the name suggests, the Panorama Route is rich in panoramic views, but it is also rich in South African history. This region of Mpumalanga runs along the north-eastern Drakensberg escarpment from the town of Sabie east to Hazyview near the border with the Kruger National Park, and north from Sabie to Graskop and the Blyde River Canyon.
