Bazley

Bazley Beach is all about beach, sun and endless sand about 11km from the South Coast town of Pennington. Bazley is one of the South Coast’s most popular family holiday spots. It has a wonderful caravan park that has been one of the South Coast’s best family holiday resorts for many years.

The mild sub-tropical climate makes those typically hot and humid South Coast days ideal for swimming, diving, fishing, surfing and all-round family fun. Bazley shares the Fafa River lagoon with its neighbour, Ifafa Beach, which offers some great canoeing and fishing.

Close by is Ndigesaan Bay, a beautiful bay with kilometres of unspoilt shores, and Mpithi Nature Trail, a bird-watcher’s delight venturing through riverine forest along the lagoon. For a nature experience take a day trip to the Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve near Umzinto.

The bustling resort town of Scottburgh with its restaurants, shops, cinema and tidal pool is a mere 20km away. There are four great golf courses close by – Selborne, Umkomaas, Scottburgh and Umdoni.
