Hibiscus Coast forms the southernmost part of the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal stretching from Hibberdene in the north to Port Edward in the south. The Umdoni Coast makes up the northern part of the South Coast from Scottburgh to eThekwini (the Durban metro). The South Coast, with its warm Indian Ocean, endless pristine beaches and sub-tropical climate was the first area of South Africa to be developed into a coastal holiday mecca.
