Kranskloof Day Hiking Trail – Rustenburg
Description
The Kranskloof Hiking Trail is found on the farm of Ronnie Bartlett (hence the other name of the trail). At the overnight camp the trail passes a dam before one ascends up the Magaliesberg mountain. Reaching the top, one passes strange rock formations as well as having a rest and gazing unto the beyond. Afterwards one descends towards the kloof / gorge. You’ll find beautiful tree ferns and rocky streams which become stronger and where “bolder hopping” is one of the activities of the day. (NB: Remember dry clothes). After a swim and break, it’s back to camp.
