Magnolia Dell Park

magnolia-del-22

Magnolia Dell originated from the white, pink and purple magnolia tree which was named after Pierre Magnol.

The Park was laid out by Harry Bruinslich, director of parks and recreation of the council of Pretoria in 1967.

The Magnolia Dell Park belongs to the municipality and was originally a soil dumping site for road works during the earlly 1940’s. After the road works were completed, 250 magnolia trees were planted all over the park by the municipality.
