“Heels on Steel” – Ol’Timers 10th Anniversary
By Ronel Moodie
On Saturday the 8th, Bikers from different clubs united to celebrate woman’s day in pink, the old fashioned Biker style way!
“It’s about a way of life, a proud way of life, an unspoken code of respect, loyalty, ethics & integrity”: The Bikers Code
Is pink the new black? O yes baby, almost like the song goes; baby makes black “leathers” talk! The “chicks”, sorry ladies, went out hard, fast and “static” to demonstrate they can compliment those “leathers”. The mixing and matching mostly consisted of tutu’s, angel wings, bunny ears and matching tops. This totally distracted the tattooed men, busy “flogging it” with the throttle”, burning “rubber”, doing “burnouts” or dyno tuning their bikes.
This dayjol was the Ol’Timers 10th anniversary celebrated at the famous Van der Stel Pub & Restaurant, however they dedicated it to each and every woman on the day!
The competitions and prizes throughout the day, kept all entertained, excited and asking for some more! Patat, and this being her first dayjol “noggal”, walked away…sorry rode away, with the big Scooter prize.
Well done to the organizers and all involved for hosting an awesome jol! Biker people, you know how to party and to have a good time, cheers!
See if we caught you “PMS” or Crack it” on camera:
