Currie Cup: Blue Bulls Steamrolled Griquas!

The Bulls surprised everyone Friday evening when they scored 57 points over the 20 of the Griquas (with an added bonus point). This moved them up into the top two spaces on the Currie Cup log.
The visitors created some tension in the first 10 minutes when they scored a try and took the lead 10-0. This after the Bulls failed to make use of a penalty advantage and the visitors counter attacked. The Bulls dominated and controlled all facets of the game after that, scoring eight tries in total.
Not only did the Bulls play an incredible game, they also played a tribute match in honour of their No 12 jersey player Tiaan Joubert, who passed away last week.
The Loftus spirit was ever present and the crowd was on their feet with every try being scored – Well done boys!
