1st 360ball Beach Tournament
The first 360ball Beach Tournament, sponsored by Carling Black Label, takes place on Plettenberg Bay’s main beach from today, December 3 to Thursday, December 6.
The first two days will comprise fun games and practice sessions for teams who will play on the last two days of the competition.
360ball was invented by the Collins brothers, John and Mark, of Knysna. It is played in a circular court (indoor or out) with a centrally placed ‘disc’.
Using a racquet, a ball is hit onto the central disc with the aim of making it bounce out of reach of an opponent and so scoring points.
The first team or player to reach 21 points wins.
