Welcome to The Crags Vet Clinic, on the N2 just outside Plettenberg Bay

This little veterinary clinic with the big heart opened in January 2012 and has grown from strength to strength with huge support from the local community.


Visit the vet - consulting times by appointment

Hours for Consulting: 9am - 11am and 3:30pm - 5pm
Shop Hours: 8am - 5pm

Urgent cases can be seen outside of these hours by special arrangement.

Dr Jacqie de Villiers-Rodmell - Owner and Veterinarian

We are holistic in our approach and will consider alternative modalities such as veterinary herbal medicine and acupuncture where necessary and feel very strongly about being involved in our local community and making a difference.

Ms Thuli Ngqakavu - Kennel and Hygiene Manager

Thuliwas born in King Williams Town in the Eastern Cape and moved to the Garden Route in 2003. She had been in the veterinary channel for 5 years before joining The Crags Vet Clinic.

She has extensive experience in handling of small animals and is in charge of the disinfection of our clinic. She is also responsible for the sterilization of surgical kits and general clinic cleanliness.

Her nursing skills are well developed and she is more than capable of helping Dr Snyman with Hospital cases.

Kim Harding

Born in Port Elizabeth and studied Nature Conservation. She moved to Plettenberg Bay 5 years ago. Kim has always been passionate about animals and has had extensive background both in equine and wildlife rehabilitation.
