24 Hour Reunion fashion extravaganza enchants Plett
Plett’s first ever 24 Hour Reunion fashion extravaganza took place on Saturday the 2nd July 2016 at The White House.
The evening turned out to be great success as national and local fashion designers entertained the audience with their outstanding performances and outfits.
Nada J from Kwanokuthula, with her original Plett collection and local models met up with Deep Settle Movement, founded by Asanda Qumelwana, Christopher Mayiji and Fezile Retyu from Gugulethu and Khayalitsha. The collaboration did well to showcase the very best of our local designers and models at international standards.
Many of South Africa’s top models were involved, which included Mandla Waterson, David Kabamba, Vincent Ntunja, Irvine Bosha, Tyrese Bani and Rowhan Rhode.
As an added treat, Lungisa, the Idols’ 2015 top 8 finalist, performed an amazing song to everyone’s delight.
The photo shoots, red carpet event, runway show, musical performance and after party at Zanzibar were thoroughly enjoyed by all and many are already looking forward to more events of this magnitude. Well done to the organisers, performers, designers and models!
