To list properties, an Estate Agency must have a feature listing. All listed properties will be housed on the feature listing under the tab, Property Listings, and all agents will be housed in the tab, Meet our Team.

Banner Advertising

Take advantage of the ShowMe advertising options to give your business the edge.

The solid coloured blocks below illustrate where advertising can be placed on a page of your choice.

Summary of Cost:

1.  Fixed Advertising:

• The Panorama – R1000 per month plus VAT – R1140
• The Rectangle Block - R150 per month plus VAT – R171
• The Skyscraper – R150 per month plus VAT – R171

All fixed position adverts are guaranteed a minimum of 1 exposure in every 4 page views and the Rectangle Block adverts will move from position 1 to 4 and back again on a rotation basis. The Panorama and the Skyscraper will be fixed in the positions as illustratred above.

2.  Page Impressions: A page impression registers every time your advertisement is displayed.  The advertising system automatically deducts 1 page impression from your bundle, every time your advertisement is displayed.  As soon as your impressions have expired, you will be notified by email so that you can renew.

• 1000 Page Impressions – R350 plus VAT – R399
• 5000 Page Impressions – R1600 plus VAT – R1824
• 10 000 Page Impressions – R3000 plus VAT – R3420

How often will my advert appear if I buy Page Impressions?

It depends on two factors:  How many pages you want your ad to be placed on, and how much traffic those pages get.  If you want a wide spread (for your ad to be placed on 8 pages for example) the bundle will obviously run out quicker than if you want your ad placed on 2 pages.

A Page Impression will only be displayed when someone is looking at the page, therefore, the more traffic on a page, the quicker your bundle will run out.  With the advice of a ShowMe Consultant, you choose where on the website you want your advert to appear.

• The Rectangular Block and the Skyscraper can be purchased as a fixed advert or in a Page Impression Bundle.  The latter can be placed on numerous pages of your choice.
• The Footer Banner can only be purchased as Page Impressions
• A wider Footer Banner is available inside property listings.  This banner can only be bought as Page Impressions.

Design and Origination Service

Although it is easy to add your business to ShowMe, you may require professional assistance for graphic design, text layout, copywriting and photographic editing. ShowMe has a professional team who can take care of this for you at a once-off charge. All prices are Excl Vat.

On a Feature Listing, a different top banner can be added for each tab.  On the Basic Listing, there is only one top bannner.  All photos to be supplied.

• Complete Feature listing – R600 plus VAT – R684 (Including one banner design)
• Complete Website – R700 plus VAT – R798 (Including one set of 6 rotators)
• Complete Basic Plus listing – R450 plus VAT – R513 (Including one banner design)
• Complete Basic listing – R350 plus VAT – R399 (Including one banner design)
• All individual or additional banners for listings – R200 plus VAT – R228 per banner
• Rectangular block, skyscraper and footer advertisements  - R200 plus VAT – R228 per banner
• Panorama banner – R200 plus VAT – R228

How do I add my Listing or Banner?

Join ShowMe as a Registered User on the Login/Join ShowMe Tab at the top of the Homepage – you will receive your password by email. Log in with your user name and password at the same Login tab on the Homepage. You will now see a new tab called Control Panel  which will give you access to ShowMe Registered User features.

One of these is the Manage your Business Listings tab. From here you can add or edit your business. Click on the Manage your Business Listings tab, and choose what you would like to do. The system will guide you through the steps.

A member of the ShowMe Team will then contact you. The next time you login you will be able to edit your listing. Once you have followed the steps of adding pictures and copy, you will update the listing and it will be placed in our queue for moderation. Within days, we will either publish the listing or contact you about any queries to be finalised. We have prepared EASY to follow instructions to help you add your listing

If you have purchased a banner, the ShowMe team will upload it for you.

Terms and Conditions

Listings, Websites and Advertising:

1. The initial contract period is for 12 months. If the Monthly Debit Order payment option has been chosen, the contract may be terminated in terms of Clause 1 of

the Payment Terms and Conditions as per the Debit Order.

2. Should the Once-Off Payment option be chosen, the contract cannot be terminated during the first 12 months.

3. ShowMe reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time and to discontinue publication of any material.

4. ShowMe will vet all material before it is published.

5. The publication of an advertisement is subject to space being available on the website.

6. Should you make use of the ShowMe Design and Origination Service, work will commence once payment has been received and material supplied.

7. Only standard ShowMe Templates may be used.

8. ShowMe reserves the right to use your supplied images and content to promote your business.

9. I hereby indemnify ShowMe Online Media CC against any action taken by copyright holders in respect of images supplied.

Hosting and Domain Registration:

1. The hosting service is dedicated to your ShowMe listing or ShowMe Website and its requirements only.

2. The charge includes domain registration and the first year’s fee.

3. You will be invoiced annually for the annual fees and domain renewal.

4. Email accounts and disc space according to the package purchased.

5. The hosting service is uncapped but subject to our hosting company’s Acceptable Use Policy available at http://www.hetzner.co.za/index.php/hosting/legal/acceptable-use-policy/

6. FTP (file transfer protocol) access to the domain’s file system is inactive.

7. All ShowMe Websites make use of the ShowMe Control Panel for updating and maintenance purposes.8. Service enquiries and email support is provided by Hetzner at National Contact Centre: 0861-0861-08 Fax 0861-0861-09.
