Located in a peaceful courtyard setting, the impressive entrance to Villa Cornelia is flanked by lush, well-maintained gardens. Outside, our attractive salt-chlorinated pool and surrounding sun terrace offer a quiet and sheltered location for swimming, reading or enjoying a glass of excellent local wine.

Inside, the dining room leads to an attractive first-floor verandah where guests can enjoy panoramic views of Plettenberg Bay over a delicious breakfast. There’s also a well stocked library of DVDs, books and board games for those quiet nights in.

By special arrangement, guests can enjoy the unique experience of a private candlelight supper in the Cornelia’s sumptious dining room.


On site facilities include:
24-hour security, private guest car park, laundry, internet, fax & DVD library. Afrikaans, English, German and Russian are spoken.


We welcome children over the age of 14, minimum 2 nights, booking essential, no smoking in rooms. No pets allowed.

Spacious and tastefully decorated with hand painted frescoes and original artworks, the suite enjoys the benefit of underfloor heating throughout.

The beautifully appointed king bedroom features generous wardrobe space, safe, flatscreen LCD satellite TV, Blu-Ray DVD, luxuriously upholstered armchairs and a concealed refreshment area with bar fridge. Selected antiques and impressive Batha oil paintings are part of the decor of this suite.

An exceptionally beautifully decorated ensuite bathroom with a bath and seperate shower is fitted with a heated towel rack and underfloor heating.

A delightful private patio allows the guest to enter and exit his suite to his private secure parking area.

We are happy to supply you with beach chairs, basket and towels and a sun umbrella, for those relaxing days on one of our beautuful beaches.

Should you wish to go on a hike, for instance, to Robberg Nature Reserve, you are more than welcome to use our rucksack, which we will gladly fill with a picnic hamper.

With underfloor heating throughout, the spacious twin/king bedroom features a luxuriously upholstered antique armchairs, original Batha water colour paintings, flatscreen LCD satellite TV and Blu-Ray DVD. This leads to a separate dressing room with ample wardrobe space, safe and a refreshment station with tea/coffee making facilities and bar fridge.

The elegant bathroom has a bath and shower, while the furnished private patio provides a peaceful location for early morning refreshments or sundowners.

We are happy to supply you with beach chairs, basket and towels and a sun umbrella, for those relaxing days on one of our beautuful beaches.

The Farmers Suite is fitted with a "Farmers Style" kitchenette and dining area, which is beautifully furnished with African Antiques and original Batha paintings.

The bedroom features a King size bed and a lounge suite with flatscreen LCD satellite TV and Bluray DVD. This room is furnished with South African antiques and unique works of art and is fitted with an airconditioner.

This suite has lovely views over the pool area to the Indian ocean and the Tsitsikamma mountains beyond.

The full bathroom has a seperate toilet, double basin, corner bath, exceptionally big shower and heated towel rack.

A private patio, entrance and parking area are part of this suite.
