West Coast Chili Poppers
Perfect treat for an Easter spent along the coast!
Ingredients:
- Jalapeno chilies
- Sweet chili low fat cream cheese (well…we try)
- Smoked bacon
- Butcher`s string
Method:
Remove the stems from the poppers and remove all the hot chili seeds.
Cut the tail end of the chilli so as to allow you to pipe the cream cheese into the chili.
Once filled wrap the bacon tightly around the poppers and tie off with butchers string. Sear the poppers in a pan with some oil to make sure that the bacon is cooked. Transfer these to the grill over the braai for a few minutes to give them a charred grill flavor.
