Walks for Wine over the Schapenberg Hills
Come and enjoy a walk over the Schapenberg Hills between all the wine farms and do a little bit of wine tasting at the various farms while you are there. These are guided Biodiversity and wine walks in the Helderberg Basin, Sir Lowry’s pass.
Much of the area was damaged after the devastating fires in 2009, therefore the aim of these walks are to raise funds to be able to restore and preserve the land within the Conservancy. On the walk you will follow biodiversity corridors and get educated on the importance of these corridors. There are five wineries where the wine tasting can take place. There are full day walks and half day walks that can be enjoyed by the public.
