5* Properties in the Mossel Bay are looking for a Sous Chef to join their brigade. Our client is looking for creative, passionate Sous Chef’s.

Duties:
Run and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Develop and mentor junior staff
Have full knowledge of stock control, stock rotation and wastage control
Maintain health, safety & hygiene
Assist with creative menu design

Qualifications
Matric and Chef diploma / certificate
Fluent in English & Afrikaans
Valid drivers licence
Computer literate

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Team player – ability to work in a diverse team
2 years experience within a 5* environment
Passionate about culinary trends

Salary: R10 000 to R12 000 depending on experience
