Looking to grow your career within a fabulous 5* Hotel. Our client is a leading hotel of the world and is looking for dynamic, energetic and highly passionate receptionists to join their team on the front desk.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing all activities related to the check in and out of guests
- Attending to guest requests, queries and complaints
- Processing all room moves according to prescribed procedures
- Handling cash and credit card transactions in a confidential manner
- Balancing the cash float issued and completing banking procedures
- Receiving and handling reservations inquiries and bookings in the absence of reservations staff
- handling incoming and outgoing calls and fulfill switchboard duties on a rotation basis
- Handling incoming and outgoing faxes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of grade 12 and 1 year experience as receptionist or in a front office
- 4*/5* experience essential’
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Tourism / hospitality / customer service qualification
- Working knowledge of Opera, Midas, guest connect and SAP will be advantageous
