Carpe Diem plans glittering fundraiser
With more than two months to go, all 19 tables available at the 2013 Gourmets & Gourmands in aid of Carpe Diem School in George, have been sold out.
Made possible by Hartman & Sons Butchery in George the culinary feast will once again see 19 restaurants and 19 wine farms combining expertise and experience to create food and wine pairings to delight every guest’s palate.
And with the Diamonds are Forever theme as delectable as the suave and sophisticated “Bond, James Bond”, guests can look forward to an evening of sensory excess.
The media launch of the 2013 Gourmets and Gourmands took place at The Rose Restaurant and Upstairs at their new stunning premises right behind the George Tourism Buro in York Street. The sleek new Upstairs lounge and bar restaurant was the perfect fit for the dashing Diamonds are Forever theme.
