If you are not satisfied with what or where you are, you have to change your responses…
Change what you daydream about. Stop dreaming about that cupcake in the cupboard or that chocolate that you are going to buy the second you have a chance. Rather think about the great walk you can have in the garden smelling the flowers when you walk past or on the beach watching a fantastic sunset or sunrise.
Change your habits. If you are use to starting at the bakery when you go shopping, change your habit and start at the fruit and veggies section. Don’t go to the sweetie isle if you know that chocolates are your weakness, rather avoid it.
Change what you read. Stop reading the cake and dessert cookbooks, start reading healthy cookbooks and magazines. This will boost your confidence and keep you away from daydreaming about all the unhealthy things you can makel.
This one may seem harsh, but change your friends. If your friends’ influence are not supportive, don’t spend too much time with them. Remember that you are on a journey to a better healthier you and they might not understand the journey that you are on. Remember, great friends will always support you no matter what.
Change how you talk. If you say you can or say you can’t – you are right. If you keep on telling yourself that you can’t loos weight or you can’t eat healthy, your body will believe what your mind is telling it and it will act accordingly resulting in you not being able to lose weight. Stay positive and keep on telling yourself that you are a winner and you can do this.…Because I know you can!
If you want something different, you are going to have to DO something different.
