The clientele is most definitely sexy, hip and hot and know how to party all night. And this is easy to do with the cream of local and international DJ’s setting the tone.

Hush Nightclub

Based on the successful gay Babylon club in Pretoria, the club offers stylish décor, sexy barmen and the stylish crowd that love the vibe.

Circle Bar Crown Plaza
Circle Bar is the funkiest bar in Rosebank set in the Crown Plaza Hotel. It has a young, cool vibe and is very well put-together with plush leather seats and moody lighting.
The bar itself has played host to several adverts including the Castle Light advert and takes its name from its circular private booths which are enclosed in curtains of light and would be great for drinks with a few friends. There’s also a private section which can be booked. The music is great and there are DJs on Saturdays.
The Bar serves snacks and has brilliant special drinks; including tequila based cocktail aptly named “The devil made me do it.”

Sin & Tax Bar
Syntax bar in Rosebank is a busy place. Based on the speak-easy concept from prohibition times, even getting into the bar is secret. Renowned mixologist Julian Short conceived Sin & Taxes, and watching him mix cocktails is mind blowing.
It is good for small groups but could be difficult to get a table. Later in the evening tables do become available.
This bar is quite dark and discreet and fast becoming a Rosebank legend.

Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar
In the Tsogo Sun on the way to the Level Four Restaurant, you pass through the Champagne Bar, bumping into the Joburg “Elite”.
The range of bubbly cocktails is extensive which you can enjoy looking out over good city views. The bar snacks are cool, and if you would like to stay for dinner, there is an outdoor lawn area that is great for warm evenings. The food is really good and you won’t be disappointed.

It is not easy to find a cocktail bar where you can take friends or colleagues after work and still feel a little private. At Mix, the size gives you that freedom and rare luxury of peace and quiet in the midst of a busy bar.

Sumo Nightclub
Sumo nightclub in Dunkeld, Rosebank, puts on a well organised house party with DJ’s who know how to rock the house. The venue is spacious and although the events are crowded you can always find place for a breather.
Whether you are on the dancefloor, messing around with friends, chatting outside, this is a great place for a party. It is easy to get drinks when crowded and after all, that is most important.
