East London Ski Boat Club
The East London Ski Boat Club offers launch facilities for visiting boats. The club is open from 4.30pm onwards for socialising with sea buddies.
The club is situated between old Latimer’s Landing and the NSRI on the East Bank of the Buffalo River. This can be reached by turning left off Fleet Street, onto Pontoon Road before reaching the bridge and following this road over the railway line.
Wayne Sparg runs the club and organises its venue hire. He also runs a Deep Sea Fishing Charter and can be contacted on 073 155 7999.
There is the fish market close by for fresh fish, which is handy if the day’s fishing left you empty handed. Contact Mark McArthur – Fresh Fish Sales on 082 575 6107.
