Hudson’s Caelin Hall receives Honours for Cricket
It is unusual in girls Cricket to come across an Off Spin Bowler, as accurate and determined as Caelin. She has been playing in the first team since Grade 9. She is an all-rounder who comes in to bat at 3. Her batting style can be likened to that of a pinch hitter, where often she will look for 6 runs.
In the last three years her hard work and countless hours have paid off in the nets, having been selected into Border U19 ladies for three consecutive years.
This season, Caelin was selected into the Border Woman’s side, some highlights being the match against Border Kei where she took 3/6 and against EP where she took 3/33 after 10 overs. Caelin was also selected into an invitational Woman’s side who played against the West Indian side, taking 1/33, averaging only 3,3 an over against the West Indian side who went on to win the T20 World Cup.
