Harley Davidson Club treat Pensioners to a day of fun
Sunday 21 August 2016, the Harley Davidson Club of East London treated 40 pensioners from Manor House to a day of fun.
The Club arranged for the pensioners to visit Rockies, HDEL’s clubhouse where they were treated to food, wine, music and dancing.
Music was provided by the band HD2 playing music from the 50’s and 60’s that had people dancing in the sunshine.
The club members sponsored the whole event and served the food and drinks and even washed up afterwards to give the senior citizens a “day off” from their usual chores.
Having photographs taken sitting on a Harley Davidson was a dream come true for many of them.
It was heart-warming to see the smiles on the faces of those that have given so much and who now receive so little.
