Farr Out is located on the road as you enter the village and is a very peaceful space, away from the hustle and bustle of the village, but close enough to walk down to the beach or to the Panty Bar for a sundowner.
Owners Deon van Schalkwyk and Marion Lubitz were inspired by the wigwams while visiting the USA. Marion ensures that this is no ordinary wigwam and that you’ll enjoy the same comforts as those offered in a room in the main guest house, the only difference is that the walls are made from canvas.
As you make your way up the quaint shell pathway, you’ll be mesmerised by a beautiful view of an indigenous garden and the ocean. And if you’re an early riser you’ll get a glimpse of the wildlife that is only really around when they think no-one is looking. There is also a braai area just beneath the open-sided wigwam, where you can prepare the crayfish or fish you purchased in the village.
The best time to utilize the wood-stoked hot tub is just after the sun disappears so that you can enjoy stargazing our expansive night sky.
